7-step tufting process

Design

Together we refine the design, colors and size; a digital sketch is sent to you for validation before moving on to production.

Assembly

The pine frame is custom-assembled, then the burlap is stretched like a drum: a flat and stable surface, ready to receive the drawing.

Transfer

The design is projected onto the canvas using an overhead projector and traced in pencil: exact position, proportions respected, no distortion.

Tufting

Using the tufting gun, each fiber is pushed into the fabric; the loops align, the color takes shape, the rug is born before your eyes.

Glue & back finish

A layer of eco-friendly glue is spread on the back: the wool is permanently fixed, the rug acquires its strength and durability.

Mowing & details

Using clippers and scissors, I adjust the height of the curls, refine the contours and separate the colors: the relief becomes sharp, the feel homogeneous.

Delivery

Once dry and checked, the rug is packaged; we arrange a time slot for hand delivery (or postal delivery): you discover the work.
